A short time freelance work as Project Manager. One of the tasks was to plan out web development for client website, and configure a mobile app for radio station client under South Seas Digital.

As a Freelance Project Manager, I undertook short-term engagements to oversee and coordinate various projects, ensuring successful delivery within specified timelines and budgets. One of the key tasks involved planning and managing web development projects for client websites, as well as configuring a mobile app for a radio station client under South Seas Digital.

Responsibilities:

  1. Project Planning: Collaborated with clients to define project requirements, objectives, and deliverables. Developed detailed project plans outlining tasks, milestones, timelines, and resource requirements for web development projects and mobile app configurations.

  2. Stakeholder Communication: Acted as the primary point of contact for clients, facilitating regular communication, providing project updates, and addressing any questions or concerns. Ensured alignment between client expectations and project deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.

  3. Team Coordination: Managed cross-functional teams of designers, developers, and other stakeholders to execute project tasks effectively. Assigned responsibilities, monitored progress, and resolved any issues or conflicts that arose during project execution.

  4. Web Development: Led the planning and execution of web development projects, including website design, content creation, and backend development. Ensured adherence to best practices in web development, user experience (UX) design, and search engine optimization (SEO).

  5. Mobile App Configuration: Oversaw the configuration and customization of a mobile app for a radio station client under South Seas Digital. Collaborated with developers to implement features, integrate content, and ensure compatibility across different mobile devices and platforms.

  6. Quality Assurance: Conducted regular quality assurance checks to ensure that deliverables met client requirements, specifications, and industry standards. Conducted user acceptance testing (UAT) and resolved any bugs or issues identified during testing.

  7. Project Documentation: Generated and maintained project documentation, including project plans, status reports, meeting minutes, and change requests. Ensured all project documentation was accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to relevant stakeholders.

  8. Client Satisfaction: Prioritized client satisfaction by delivering high-quality work, meeting project deadlines, and exceeding client expectations. Solicited feedback from clients to identify areas for improvement and implemented corrective actions as needed.
